- 4 teaspoons of baking soda
- Water
- 10 bay leaves

Fill a big pot halfway with water, place it on the fire, and bring it to a boil with the ten bay leaves and four spoons of baking soda. Once the water has reached a boil, reduce the heat to low and cook for another twenty minutes, or until the baking soda and bay leaves have released their qualities.
