How to Clean a Dirty Oven Quickly from Top to Bottom

As much as the oven is a household appliance that can come to our rescue to prepare tasty dishes, it also makes us damn it when we need to clean it. Let’s face it, the grease and burnt encrustations that form in the oven are not so easy to remove, and sometimes it really becomes a chore. But not for us! You will be happy to know, in fact, that all you need is a little alcohol vinegar to clean your oven quickly and easily!

  • Cleaning the oven compartment

The oven compartment is the component most susceptible to dirt, as it “houses” our pans, returning us, then, delicious dishes all to enjoy. Fortunately, however, it is possible to have it as good as new simply with alcohol vinegar. Before proceeding with its cleaning, it is good to first remove the internal grills so as to empty the compartment. Then, add half a glass of alcohol vinegar in 1 quart of water and pour, then, everything into a spray bottle. After that, spray the mixture inside the oven compartment, concentrating more on the encrustations and stains and wipe with a sponge so that all the dirt is removed. Alternatively, you can also bring 2 cups of alcohol vinegar to a boil and pour it, then, into two bowls. At this point, put them in the oven while they are still steaming, close the door and leave them for about 30 minutes so that the fumes can soften the encrustations present. Finally, open the door and rinse with water and vinegar, washing away the last remnants and thus obtaining a very clean oven.

N.B Make sure the oven is cooled before rinsing and that the power is off.

  • Cleaning the grills

Grills also tend to get very dirty and have stains and encrustations everywhere. Also, it may be tiring to clean them because of their structure. But fear not! Because even in this case alcohol vinegar, will be able to come to your rescue. We remind you, in fact, that it boasts degreasing and cleaning properties that can remove the most encrusted dirt from even the kitchen stove! All you will have to do, then, is to take out the grates and put them in the sink filled with hot water. Then pour in a glass of alcohol vinegar and let the grates soak for a while. Finally, wipe with a sponge to remove the dirt and rinse: goodbye dirt and grease!

  • Cleaning the oven glass

Finally, all that remains is to clean the oven glass in order to have a clean oven in all its components. All you need to do, then, is to mix together 2 tablespoons of alcohol vinegar, 2 cups of water and a tablespoon of baking soda and pour the resulting mixture into a spray bottle. Baking soda, in fact, combined with vinegar, results in a product that can easily descale! Not surprisingly, in fact, these two ingredients are also capable of removing yellow stains from the toilet! Then, spray the mixture on the oven glass and leave it on for about 15 minutes. At this point, wipe with a soft sponge on the stains to be cleaned and rinse. If the stains are stubborn and have a hard time coming out, you can also heat the oven to a temperature of about 100 °F, open it, wait a few minutes to let it cool a bit and spread, then, the vinegar and baking soda solution. At this point, leave it on for a while and rinse with a sponge soaked in water-your oven will never be cleaner!
