If you are a real gardener, you will be proud of your garden. And you can, because we all know how difficult it is to take care of it properly. You need to be able to keep animals like deer, rabbits or other rodents away from your possessions and choose the right products to take care of them. In this, of course, you can always reach for the chemical maces, but who wants that? So, ditch the toxic stuff, we’ve compiled a list of products that will add beauty to your garden and are all natural.
Sprinkle coffee beans on the ground
Don’t worry, you’re not supposed to open a coffee bar. Sprinkle some beans on the soil of your garden and observe the following: The beans release nitrogen, which in turn makes the soil a little more acidic – perfect for keeping deer and rodents away.
Sounds weird, but it helps. Soap is known for its strong smell, this can drive away insects like aphids, mites, and fringe flies because they don’t like it at all. And seriously, everyone has access to soap, right?
Garlic, hot pepper and dish soap
Here’s a quick description of things you never thought would be useful together. If you want to keep your garden neat and clean, mix these substances together: 1 clove of garlic, a teaspoon of hot pepper, and a teaspoon of dish soap. Peel the garlic and mix it with the pepper and a cup of water. Then refrigerate it overnight and add dish soap. After that, you can spray the mixture through a coffee filter in the garden.
Throw a little flour in your garden
Also, a good insect killer is flour combined with black pepper. Mix it and sprinkle it in your garden. You won’t find any more insects.
Beer drives away insects. Even beer can drive away insects that feed on your leaves. Fill a bowl with beer and place it next to the affected plant. It will be spared from now on.
