The flavor and aroma of this fruit can also be exploited in a mandarin marmalade. To make it richer, you can blend the peels and add the resulting cream to the pulp, working them together for a tasty product.

Like all other candied fruits, you can also caramelize the peels of these small orange fruits; the preparation is the same as for any other candied product. Do you know how to reuse tangerine peels for an infusion? Just soak them in water, boil and then let them sit for 5 minutes, before straining the result and enjoying it.

To avoid throwing away the tangerine peels, you can dry them at home. Leave them in an oven at a low temperature for about 50°C until they are dehydrated.
