It happened to me last week with the floor cleaner, the good news being that I had several ingredients to create a new natural, homemade product. Now I use this one all the time! So, take note, because I’m going to tell you how to make a floor cleaner with some ingredients you already have at home.

White vinegar and citrus peels
Cleaning the home in a natural way, that is, based on non-chemical products, is a nice advantage. In fact, even some organizations recommend cleaning with products such as vinegar or baking soda. Now, let’s see how to make homemade detergents that are environmentally friendly and very inexpensive. To prepare this home floor cleaner, soak the peel of two lemons, oranges or grapefruits in a bottle of distilled white vinegar for a week. Then strain the mixture and transfer the solution to an empty used container of cleaner. What surfaces can it be used on? Use it on tile floors, hardwood floors, but not marble. It can also be used to clean hard surfaces, such as sinks and wooden countertops.
Lemon and baking soda
Another natural floor cleaner uses as ingredients: lemon and baking soda. Cut half a lemon and strain the juice, add a few tablespoons of baking soda to the bucket with water to clean the floor. Mix and wash the floor as usual.
Water, vinegar and mild soap
Add eight cups of warm water, 1 cup of white vinegar and two tablespoons of mild soap to a spray bottle or any other container. To give aroma, you can add an essential oil of your choice. The lemon one is the best! Shake the mixture and spray directly on the mop or add some to the bucket water. This mixture is also useful for polishing wood floors.
